Journey to the South

I just realised I have not blog for almost a month. Busy, busy, busy with tests, assignments, studies and commitments. Tonnes had happen throughout the course. But first things first, I just bought myself a new spectacles. My old one snapped just before my mid-semester break. So I had to buy a new one ASAP before I start my Melaka-Johor journey. What happened actually was Alex accidentally laid on my specs when I put it on my bed. So his 60-70kg body weight squaked my specs. And this is what happened..

So I told Mei Lin to accompany me and buy a new spectacles. Wanna ask her opinion which specs are nice. After going through dozens of spectacles, I decided to choose this as my new specs. Tadaa~
Oops sorry forgot to rotate the pic.. Oh well~

This was on the roof top of Ringo's Foyer @ Melaka

Thus, I shall start bragging about the first part of the trip, Melaka! Took us around 4-5 hours to reach there, due to traffic jams and ocassioanal stops. 20 of us was in that trip, so we were using 4 cars. Most of us were quite new to Melaka as soon as we arrived. Some even got lost on the way to JONKER STREET. But in the end, we prevailed thanks to some random guy who showed us the direction to Ringo's Foyer.

One of the monuments in Jonker Street. Nothing special..

Jonker Street fyi, is Melaka's very own Chinatown. It has those markets similar to Petaling Street, but on certain days of the week only. Bought quite a few goods, hats, sandals, tshirts, shades, etc. First night, we had our dinner at a famous sate shop in Melaka. I don't know why its so renown, but there were long queues when we arrived. Plus, we were starving and had to walked so far. But the food was 'orgasmic' LOL. (term used by Edgar Peter Dabbi).

Following day, we went out for a stroll around Melaka. Had a chance to snap some of the famous monuments in Melaka including the Christ Church and A'Famosa. Mark Dexter, Lorenzo and Mark Alex snapped a picture with a huge snake. Me and Mei Lin did not join, she wanted to buy a hat zzz. But anyway, that second day is mostly flourished with either exploring or eating hahaha. Oh btw, Melaka's food are awesome. Breakfast we ate chee cheong fun and dimsums while lunch we ate the famous chicken rice ball. Yum2~

Then we started our journey to Johor in the evening for the Inter-Campus Gathering Camp at Plentong, Johor. 500 christian students participated. Met some new friends, a few old friends and saw hell lot of Sabahan chicks ahahaha. (Mei Lin, gue cuci mata aja hehe XD). The camp was fun, lots of praise and worshipping, performances, talks (this one not so). Too bad there was no outings during the camp. BUT after the camp..

A few of the UTP troop went back to KL, while the rest stayed another night at Johor which includes me. We went to The Zon, free tax mall. Too bad the mall was quite small, so there was not much choices. The plus points are the liquors and chocs only. Then went to Danga Bay. Its similar with Jonker Street, got markets. But this time, it has a theme park. Quite expensive though, so me and Mei Lin rode a mini ferris wheel only. Then had 'drinking' session with Andrey's cousin. Edgar was the only one who got drunk among all of us ahahaha.

Next morning started our journey back to Melaka for another night, and another night around Melaka. This time to Newton for dinner and walked around the Taming Sari tower. Did not ride it though, quite expensive. Even the Eye of Malaysia we did not take the chance. Oh well maybe next time. Next morning we ended our trip by driving all the way back to UTP. So total of 5 days travelling. Gosh how I had fun. Even my wallet had 'fun' splurting money LOL. But no worries, the experience we gained that counts. Cheers!
The famous Christ Church (Sorry forgot to rotate again)

The beca (these beca are quite modern as the are putting speakers behind the seat haha)

Forgot the name of the priest. But local people told me that the hand (notice its broken) was bleeding blood when some guy accidently broke it

The church the priest was ordained to

Jonker Street!

The famous and well-renowned sate shop

Look at the queue...

During ICG. It was actually during some talk I think. Got bored, so snapped a photo with Lolo

Somewhere in Melaka (got the pictures all jumbled up)

This is what I found in The Zon, Johor. Liquors, liqours, liqours!

Next destination?

I have just watched the recent Final Destination movie last night. Not my kind of movie, but have to tag along. I was following my senior's car to church, and he wants to watch FD after the mass. So just follow la since I'm lazy to wake up for Sunday morning masses. Maylin and Yves followed too with the same reason. The movie was damn terrifying. Flesh reaped all over, blood gushed everywhere. Yuck! Moral of the story, appreciate the life you have right now. Don't sulk about it, cause you don't know when you're gonna die and MAYBE, how cruel you're gonna die wahaha!

So our Singapore trip is confirmed. Will be going there after our ICG camp @ Majodi Centre, Johor. Its gonna be one hell of a trip since it will take around 9 hours of driving to Johor. Ouch! There goes my butt. Anyway, we will only go Singapore on a 1 day trip since its the condition for a temporary passport. Probably gonna do sight-seeing only, since my money will get halved the amount.

Here's a funny picture from http://failblog.org/ I guess you need to zoom it or whatsoever. Hahaha enjoy! ;)

UTP is ours!

Is everyone going back this weekend? Hopefully they will, cause I like it when nobody's in campus haha! Can do whatever we want. 'Borrow' people's bike, cycle around, then play Dota and don't bother shouting hehe.

Well anyway, 4 tests have finished. Just concluded my Academic Writing test this afternoon. Wouldn't say damn easy, later overconfident pula. Just got my physical chemistry test result. I got 19.5/30. Arghh! One of our coursemate got 30/30 man, gilaa~ Next week is our last test before raya break, which is organic chemistry. I know I sucked in organics, so better prepare something. Piven, do us some miracle!!

This weekend planning to go Ipoh and change my Digi plan. Just realised yesterday it isn't the D'campus plan. No wonder la my credit expenditure so expensive. So I have to go to the Digi centre to revert back. Then maybe buy some contact lenses. My contact lens finish already haiz.

We (as in me and my roomate, Mark) have been constantly attacked by insects again. Why do they specifically go to our room? I never hear any complains about insects from my neighbours. Maybe their sarang is IN our room. Shit la, we look like some dudes who got beaten up. Luckily its on our body, so we can cover it up. Unlike last sem, they attacked my face until look like kena punch haha. PS to Mark: Tu lah kau mau pindah pi ni room, skrg menyesal ka tdk? Wahaha

My days have been busier than ever. Actually I wanted to take a break from events after Famine 30. But since Maylin wanted to join Talent Search so much, she forced me to go. Worst part was, she started her blabbering that next sem won't have chance to be active, its a good experience, next time won't have chance cause busy, yadaa2~ So finally I decided to give in. Intended to join the logistics department, but heard it was full. Then the PD told me adjudication is still empty. So I applied and qualified. My interviewer cum HOD is Hui Shiong. Now me, Zauxiant and Andrew are given the task to find guest artist during Talent Search Final. Got a few contacts, but I dunno what kind of taste UTPians want. Rock bands like BunkFace is it? Awkwardly, Maylin also got into adjudication. But her task is to find judges for the event. I'm telling you, its not easy to find these kind of people with limited funds in our hand. Hopefully I'll get a better pricing for Frequency Cannon and BitterSweet ;)

That's about it. No pictures though, my handphone gallery is half filled with Maylin's SS pictures =.= Peace out!

The Decision

Things have been rough these past few days. Had been busy with Famine 30-hour yesterday, which didn't go well. Can't point fingers though, I didn't go to one of the rehearsals myself. Everything was last minute, ahh whatever.. It has passed. To be honest, I didn't even fast for 30-hours haha. 24-hours to be exact.
Secondly its about my relationship with my baby. Had a misunderstanding th
e other night during my friends' birthday party. Its kinda weird she suddenly got angry at me for no reason. It has happened numerous times, but I was being patient til that night. Maybe got a bit of stress with all these events and tests piling up. So I got a bit short-fused. So today lots of people were asking bout her, which I had assumption that they think that we broke up. Actually its not, I'm just a guy who needs a so called 'bachelor holiday'. I dunno bout coupled guys, but maybe at some point of their life they do need a timeout and hang out with their guy friends only. So I did have my holiday, which only lasted for a day (lousy me, I know), cause we met each other again during Famine event.
I really have to apologise to my baby for ignoring her. S
he almost gave up on me. But I have decided that I am deeply in love to her (jeez this sounds weird, first time I'm typing this in my blog), no matter what kind of wrong doings she has done. Cause I'm kinda immune to it already. Maybe I do lack understanding to girls, one of my weaknesses. To me, everyone is similar haha. Ok, so I want to make a formal apology to her. Dinner maybe? :)

P.S. To other guys who thought she's available again, shoo~ haha just kidding

Perfect match~

3, 2, 1.. Go!

First off, I was training to fast again today for the 30-hour famine event. Today I last even longer, 23-hours without food wahaha. Not bad eh? Heard from Meilin her friend got gastric upon the 18th hour. Pitiful, you guys aren't made of steel :P

Anyway, several events have occurred throughout the week, mainly the ConvoFair. It was good, bought lots of stuff to eat n drink. Coconut milkshakes, mooncake, nasi aya
m madu, etc. Lucky I still have money, or else I'll just drool in front of the stalls. Amy Search came and performed. Was awesome, although I only know 2 of his song; Tiada Lagi and Isabella. Meilin was furious of me cause she didn't know the song at all haha. Pity her though, me and my friends were shouting Isabella haha. Aizat also came, didn't know much about him. He was one of the AF stars. He sang 'I'm yours' quite well and his guitar skills are good. Then I went to the archery field with friends.

During preps.. Just giving a try on how to pull the bow

This time with the arrow. Quite hard to aim la, my hand kept on shaking boohoo~

Meilin aiming on the target.. As you can see, her technique is not quite right. Her right elbow should point behind for further distance :P

Shockingly, Clare did well amongst all of us. Mark on the other hand (as kiasu as he is), keeps on denying that she had beaten him. Ahh whatever la you guys.. From the previous picture also, you can notice that Alex is controlling himself. Ella was around that time, so I guess he's acting cool and stuff haha!

I have heard of rumors that the IRC has excellent toilets that can match the whole Perak (according to Alex anyway). So as sceptical as I am, I went there myself. To my surprise, he is quite true. The toilet I went is in tiptop shape. Here is the proof:

Mirrors sparkling, floors shining, scentful smell.. Truly a world-class toilet. So in case you guys need a perfect spot to snap pictures, the IRC toilet is an excellent place.

I just came back from Eddie's birthday party @ V4 cafe. Had a great time. Sim had to run away from Yi Tong cause she wanna paint Sim's face ahax! Even had several incidents when Chiang Jinn and McKevin fell into the longkang, damn funny la wei ahahaha! Anyway, have fun through out the day Eddie, best wishes to you dude ;) Peace!

The whole geng that came

Birthday boy's cake yum2..

Air cond anyone?

I've been hearing people complaining bout hot weathers here and there. Some complained they were sweating during their sleep, some til they got sick, some say Malaysia switch weather with Sahara (LOL?). Heck, even when I woke up I was sweating. Believe it people, global warming is happening.. More and more gases are trapped in the Earth's atmosphere. Ice are melting, sea levels are rising. Sadly, cars and burning keep on increasing (macam rap song saja haha). Anyway, we're gonna die unless some crack scientist finds another way out.

Attended my Physical Chemistry Lab yesterday. We were all screwed by the lab demo. He gave us wrong instructions and it was totally different from the method in the lab m
anual. In the end, we spent most of our time doing the wrong thing. Luckily my new lab partner, Karen (chewah mahu intro also), got some backups. I found a backup myself in DC++ wahaha. I just need to copy paste the whole thing. But as a good and honest student~, I did it myself and will only refer to it when I'm stuck ;)

Other than that, our allowance is another hot issue in UTP. It hasn't come in yet due to unknown reasons. Some of my friends have to eat Maggi for dinner because of it. Come on, hurry up will ya? My friend, Ridzhuan (wahh another friend introduced), told me he was reje
cted for the Petronas Scholarship. So either he becomes a private student or wait for JPA. He's quite smart la wei, kena rejected pula. Petronas sure quite picky. Good luck with it dude!

Recently my right leg got injured on the knee. Some insect went on top of it and sprayed it's deadly dose of acid on my skin. Causes rashesness at first. Next thing you know, it becomes swollen. Lucky my baby gave me some of her moisturiser. Kena my face also actually, but luckily it healed on time thanks to her moisturiser. But my legs got worst. So she helped me to do some basic
medications and now, it seems all better. Can't wait to run again haha. Thank you dear! Here's the picture of the culprit:

So guys, if you ever see these things, don't ever kill it with your bare hands or it's liquid will make your hand swollen (unless you quickly wash it, which I doubt). Kill it using a book or something, then you'll see it's lethal weapon coming out. The liquid is reddish in colour (I know, I've been encountering and studying it quite frequent). It likes warm places (aka your body). So beware! Close your window at night, or else things might go in. LOL like Keys, Locks and Open doors pula.

Lastly, I've been training myself to fast a few days ago. Went without eating for 12 hours, which is my personal best LOL. Have to train for longer hours cause the 30-hour Famine event is just around the corner. I can already see myself starving on the floor haha. But seriously, if you eat Nestum in the morning, you can last til nightime. So that's my secret formula for the event haha. OK thats all for now, peace!

We're Left for dead!

We're stuck here in UTP for one whole week. A few of our friends have been infected. 2 of them actually, Lolo and Flee. Its like playing the L4D game, we're the survivors and the rest are zombies trying to eat us alive haha! Hopefully both of them will get well soon, jia yoo! Haven't go out from UTP yet. We are forbidded to go out actually, but there's always ways *ehem-ehem* through mesra *ehem-ehem* I have been Prototype-ing and Dota-ing whole day haha. Want to finish Prototype before the holidays finish. Alex did, damn him.. That's most of the updates I can think of, can't wait to play futsal with my ChemE geng. Peace out!
