So I told Mei Lin to accompany me and buy a new spectacles. Wanna ask her opinion which specs are nice. After going through dozens of spectacles, I decided to choose this as my new specs. Tadaa~
This was on the roof top of Ringo's Foyer @ MelakaThus, I shall start bragging about the first part of the trip, Melaka! Took us around 4-5 hours to reach there, due to traffic jams and ocassioanal stops. 20 of us was in that trip, so we were using 4 cars. Most of us were quite new to Melaka as soon as we arrived. Some even got lost on the way to JONKER STREET. But in the end, we prevailed thanks to some random guy who showed us the direction to Ringo's Foyer.
One of the monuments in Jonker Street. Nothing special..Jonker Street fyi, is Melaka's very own Chinatown. It has those markets similar to Petaling Street, but on certain days of the week only. Bought quite a few goods, hats, sandals, tshirts, shades, etc. First night, we had our dinner at a famous sate shop in Melaka. I don't know why its so renown, but there were long queues when we arrived. Plus, we were starving and had to walked so far. But the food was 'orgasmic' LOL. (term used by Edgar Peter Dabbi).
Following day, we went out for a stroll around Melaka. Had a chance to snap some of the famous monuments in Melaka including the Christ Church and A'Famosa. Mark Dexter, Lorenzo and Mark Alex snapped a picture with a huge snake. Me and Mei Lin did not join, she wanted to buy a hat zzz. But anyway, that second day is mostly flourished with either exploring or eating hahaha. Oh btw, Melaka's food are awesome. Breakfast we ate chee cheong fun and dimsums while lunch we ate the famous chicken rice ball. Yum2~
Then we started our journey to Johor in the evening for the Inter-Campus Gathering Camp at Plentong, Johor. 500 christian students participated. Met some new friends, a few old friends and saw hell lot of Sabahan chicks ahahaha. (Mei Lin, gue cuci mata aja hehe XD). The camp was fun, lots of praise and worshipping, performances, talks (this one not so). Too bad there was no outings during the camp. BUT after the camp..
A few of the UTP troop went back to KL, while the rest stayed another night at Johor which includes me. We went to The Zon, free tax mall. Too bad the mall was quite small, so there was not much choices. The plus points are the liquors and chocs only. Then went to Danga Bay. Its similar with Jonker Street, got markets. But this time, it has a theme park. Quite expensive though, so me and Mei Lin rode a mini ferris wheel only. Then had 'drinking' session with Andrey's cousin. Edgar was the only one who got drunk among all of us ahahaha.
Next morning started our journey back to Melaka for another night, and another night around Melaka. This time to Newton for dinner and walked around the Taming Sari tower. Did not ride it though, quite expensive. Even the Eye of Malaysia we did not take the chance. Oh well maybe next time. Next morning we ended our trip by driving all the way back to UTP. So total of 5 days travelling. Gosh how I had fun. Even my wallet had 'fun' splurting money LOL. But no worries, the experience we gained that counts. Cheers!
